Ok guys I'm going to go with the sire p7. I just need help picking the right color combination. I will 100% go with the consensus ITT.

i dont. i would get one if i had more money to spare. i love the sound and think it inspire me to learn some new shit.

ny current bass is a peavey cirrus and i only bought it because about 10 years prior i played a fretless model in a guitar shop and thought it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever touched

do you play bass?

they sound incredible

but you have to relearn to play I think because you have to place your fingers so precisely like on a violin, no frets to help you out!

I know guitar and have played around on basses, but itd be wrong to say I play bass

nah i just dont have any desire to have a 5 string. only benefit would be that i wouldnt have to retune for songs we play half step down or in drop D.

But now ill have 2 basses, so that won't be ab issue anyway.

have not. it can only be ordered direct from the manufacturer. build quality sound and playability get great reviews and they have a 30 day no questions asked return policy.

I don't know about next level but it will enable me to get more and different tones than I can with my current bass which has a great jazz sound with an expressive midrange. The sire will have better low end, rock tones, motown sound, jaco tone, marcus miller slap tone.

It'll also be useful at gigs to have a 2nd bass for songs we play tuned down.

Even if u offered me the new Martin 2018 D-28 at a huge discount to buy, I would never accept until I played it and played it. Until I heard it sound through and through.

like i said there is a risk free return policy. If you were able to buy a Martin at a 75% discount and it could be returned if you didn't like it, you would pass?

this is a pretty new company and independent reviews universally say the build quality, playability, pups and electronics are professional quality.

It's a bass that is the same quality as instruments that cost $2,000+. It can be had for a fraction of the price because it isn't a big name, has to be bought "blind" and can be purchased directly through the manufacturer rather than at guiTTTar center.

you going 4 or 5 string?

4 string. Really not a fan of 5 or 6 string basses.

I think that's nice but something about a tobacco sunburst p bass screams "boomer in a country band".
